Positive About Inclusion was delighted to deliver a pro bono EDI workshop for the Board of Tyne Housing which focused on the role of the Board in ensuring equity, embracing diversity and operating inclusively.
Tyne Housing provides support, housing, healthcare and training to some of the the North East’s most vulnerable people. With over 420 bed-spaces across the region, the organisation provides housing and support to those who have experienced complex issues in their lives.
As part of the workshop the Board explored the equity and diversity elements of the current regulatory framework, reflected on their current approach to gaining assurance on this subject and considered the individual and collective responsibilities of the Board in relation to inclusion.
“Positive About Inclusion led a really thought-provoking session for Tyne’s Board, helping us to celebrate the efforts we’ve made so far and leaving us with strong recommendations on how to continue progressing forward. Thank you to Lucy and Karen.”
