Positive About Inclusion was delighted to be commissioned by CCHA to deliver an equity, diversity and inclusion workshop to their CCS colleagues as part of their colleague conference.
Castles & Coasts Housing Association (CCHA) employs around 260 staff, and owns and manages more than 7,000 properties in rural and urban communities across the North of England, with around 75% located in Cumbria. CCS is the arm of the business that delivers the organisation’s repairs, maintenance and estate services.
The brief was to design and deliver a session that would resonate with colleagues, using real-life examples and activities to both engage and embed the learning.
We designed and delivered a two hour in person workshop that was held in a Cumbrian hotel due to the size of the group (over 70 attendees) and the the focus of the workshop was on the attitudes and behaviours to embed an inclusion mindset. The session concluded with a team quiz as an opportunity to check understanding in an enjoyable and competitive way!
“Thank you for the session you delivered this afternoon… I think everyone got something out of it and the feedback so far has been really positive.
I’ve really enjoyed the process of working with you to pull this together and the whole afternoon flowed really well.”
Mark Robson, Head of Direct Maintenance Services, CCHA
