Thank you for your support. I always learn something new. I have received fantastic feedback from my colleagues about the event.

We were delighted to be invited to celebrate National Inclusion Week with Nexus and to deliver an engaging session for colleagues on the importance of LGBTQ+ inclusion and allyship all year round.

Nexus is the Tyne and Wear Passenger Transport Executive, and they work to create and maintain better public transport networks for people across the region in partnership with the North East Mayoral Strategic Authority, local authorities and bus operators.

During the 60 minute session we explored the history of Pride and the long LGBTQ+ inclusion journey so far. We shared our allyship experiences and discussed everyday ways to be an ally. Furthermore, attendees heard some powerful first hand experiences shared by their colleagues.

“As always, thank you for your support. I always learn something new. I have received fantastic feedback from my colleagues about the event.”

Ally Jennings, HR Manager, Nexus
