As an Executive Team, it can be really helpful to use a trusted, external partner to facilitate discussion and debate, especially when looking to establish a shared consensus and commitment. That’s why we were delighted to be commissioned by Clyde Valley Housing Association to facilitate a two hour workshop for their Executive Team to discuss and agree the next steps on their equity, diversity and inclusion journey.
Clyde Valley Housing Association have been delivering social housing since 1996 and have been recognised for innovative and collaborative approaches to meeting community needs. With a strong commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion within their vision and values, Clyde Valley’s Executive Team shared a personal commitment to inclusivity but were keen to:
-
explore the current context for equity, diversity and inclusion in today’s evolving world and in the context of increasingly challenging social housing regulation
-
learn from best practice and excellence in equity, diversity and inclusion approaches, both within the social housing sector and beyond
-
reflect on the most effective ways to embed their commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion into their corporate architecture, ensuring that colleagues and customers understood and valued this commitment
