"Their experience of housing and ED&I together is excellent and this makes their training appropriate and engaging for teams delivering housing services."

We were delighted to be asked once again to partner with Castles and Coasts Housing Association (CCHA) to deliver an online training session suitable for all colleagues working across the business.

The brief was to design and deliver a session that brought ‘ED&I to life’ for colleagues in recognition of the new social housing regulatory landscape in which there is an increased focus on equity, diversity and inclusion.

Providing examples from our extensive social housing background, we delivered an engaging and interactive session to over 100 CCHA colleagues on:

  • Raising awareness and understanding of the current regulatory landscape

  • Exploring the difference between equality and equity

  • Supporting participants to recognise diverse needs and deliver reasonable adjustments

  • Reflecting on the importance of mindset and attitude

  • Exploring the bias, assumptions and stigma that can create barriers to getting it right first time

“Positive About Inclusion designed a session aligned to the ED&I requirements in the Consumer Standards and really brought this to life and made it relatable to teams delivering services to residents. Their experience of housing and ED&I together is excellent and this makes their training appropriate and engaging for teams delivering housing services.”

Dawn Clark, Housing Services Director

“Professional, authentic and really helped augment our ED&I Strategy and supporting Delivery Plan”
