Positive About Inclusion was delighted to be commissioned by Bernicia to design and deliver a further e-learning module to support the ED&I learning package we delivered in 2023.
To celebrate Neurodiversity Celebration Week in 2025, Bernicia commission us to design and deliver a bespoke neurodiversity e-learning module using Rise 360 software, compatible with multiple Learning Management Systems.
Titled ‘Celebrating Neurodiversity at Bernicia’ the module was designed to be completed by all colleagues and to raise awareness about neurodiversity, providing guidance on the small changes and adjustments everyone can take responsibility for to support neurodiverse colleagues and customers.
The e-learning module comprised five key elements:

Part One explored the term neurodiversity, its history, some facts and figures, and the appropriate language and terminology to use.

Part Two covered some of the most common neurodiverse conditions and the positive impact and challenges these can present.

Part Three considered the social housing context, exploring the current regulatory landscape and the legal position.

Part Four looked at the attitudes and behaviours that colleagues can adopt to create an inclusive working environment where everyone can flourish.

Part Five checked colleague’s understanding with a multiple choice quiz.
