Positive About Inclusion has been recognised as a business that can “change the world and support communities to combat the causes and effects of poverty” with an invitation to join the exclusive Aster Foundation social incubator programme cohort for 2024.
Following a competitive application process, Positive About Inclusion has been selected as one of 12 diverse social entrepreneurs ranging from financial inclusion apps to a community café. All organisations will engage in the 10 month inc. programme that will provide tailored business support, networking and mentoring, sponsored by the award-winning professional solutions provider McAndrew Martin Ltd.
To begin the inc. programme journey, all of the 2024 cohort have been invited to an online showcase, to pitch their organisation and the support they need to expand and grow to Aster Group’s extensive network of 100+ professionals and supporters. A range of pathways is available to each organisation on this year’s cohort (investment, procurement, research, grants and funding) to ensure the support provided helps each organisation to contribute to Aster Foundation’s mission of ‘building business to change the world’.
Our Director Lucy Malarkey said “It’s a real honour to be selected for this social incubator programme, and its an invaluable opportunity for Positive About Inclusion to have the benefit of an external, independent perspective as we continue to grow and expand the services we provide.”
Fellow Director Karen Faulkner added “Meeting the other members of this year’s cohort was fantastic! There is such a range of unique organisations, so very different but all sharing a passion to solve a societal problem. We’re really looking forward to getting to know the rest of this inspirational group, and learning together and from each other.”
