Positive About Inclusion was commissioned by Trinity Chambers to undertake three projects to support the delivery of the organisation’s inclusivity objectives.
With a strong commitment to creating and sustaining an inclusive workplace culture for their members the Trinity Chambers Management Committee instructed us to:
-
Complete an appreciative inquiry exercise
-
Carry out an analysis of presence
-
Design and deliver bespoke training
In order to hear the voices of both the Barristers and the staff we invited people to either participate in an online survey, a virtual 121 discussion or to attend one of the drop in events held in Leeds, Middlesbrough and Newcastle. This provided participants with the opportunity to share their experiences, the positive and negative aspects of the Chambers’ culture.
To complete the analysis of presence we undertook a review of Trinity Chambers online presence through their website and social media channels. The purpose of which was to establish the visibility and consistency of their inclusivity commitment.
We utilised the insight gathered through these activities to inform the subsequently design and delivery of a bespoke series of online and in person training sessions.
“Thank you for all of your efforts with Trinity…the report is excellent, thank you, it strikes a fair balance between highlighted good practice and holding a mirror up to us where we must do better.”
Tim Harris, Chambers Director, Trinity Chambers
