Positive About Inclusion was commissioned to design and deliver a series of bespoke in-person Reasonable Adjustment workshops for customer-facing colleagues at Stonewater. Stonewater is one of the largest social housing providers in the UK, owning and managing around 36,000 homes for more than 78,000 customers.
The session was made up of learning and reflection as well as interactive and engaging activities, providing a safe space to consider ways to tailor the service we provide to adapt to the broadest possible range of residents.
With a spotlight on some of the Housing Ombudsman’s maladministration judgements across the sector, the workshop explored the lessons to be learnt by the sector, and provided practical and tangible tips to help attendees respond to customers and colleagues with empathy and compassion.
Extremely engaging and felt I have learnt so much I can include not just in professional but personal life experiences. Really informative and a great balance of activities.

A thought provoking session today Lucy and Karen. You reminded us just how important it is to really listen, question and empower.
