Northern Insight Coverage for Positive About Inclusion

27 May 2025
Three women are standing closely side by side. They are smiling warmly and present as a good team who have worked together on an article for the Norther Insight magazine.

We were delighted to be featured not once, but twice in the latest edition of the Northern Insight magazine, the leading business and leisure publication for the North East of England!

Their May 2025 issue includes coverage of two collaborations with local strategic partners who share our passion and commitment for ethical business – Genee Consulting Ltd and Castle Peak Group Ltd.

Genee Consulting Ltd is a B Corp certified environmental sustainability consultancy created to support organisations of all types and sizes become ready for a zero-carbon economy. We were invited by Genee’s Managing Director, Jo Holmes to collaborate on a thought leadership piece for their regular column, providing our insight on social equity and practical ways that organisations can embed social equity considerations into their sustainability strategy.

We believe that by embedding social equity into sustainability, North East businesses can lead the way in creating an inclusive, greener future. This is a business opportunity, as research as shown that companies that prioritise inclusion and equity with authenticity and intention, tend to be more innovative, attract better talent, and build stronger customer loyalty. Embedding social equity means looking at the bigger picture and designing a future that works for everyone.

With a successful track record of executive appointments within the public sector, and especially within social housing, Positive About Inclusion has worked with Castle Peak’s founder and CEO, James Carss on a number of strategic projects including a recruitment diagnostic as part of an equity, diversity and inclusion health check project for a leading national provider of retirement living and extra care accommodation for older people, Housing 21.

We were delighted to be cited in their Northern Insight article as a ‘trusted partner’ who had been referenced in their recent research with social housing providers.
